  1. What is CityServe?
    CityServe is a movement to serve the communities around us initiated by Harvest Mission Community Church. Our goal is to meet the tangible needs of the community by offering our time and energy to make a difference in people's lives.

  2. Who get involved in CityServe?
    Anyone can get involved in CityServe through volunteering or sponsoring the event.

  3. Where will CityServe take place?
    In Ann Arbor, we will begin the day at 11AM at the Transformation Center, and then proceed to various service sites. You can also check out the other cities where CityServe is taking place.

  4. What should I wear to CityServe?
    In general, casual dress will be best. Some of our service projects will involve manual labor, and others will be more interactive with people we are serving. If you are part of a LIFE Group, you will know beforehand what type of service you will be doing and can dress appropriately. If you're not sure, wear casual clothes that you don't mind getting a bit dirty.

  5. What do I need to bring to CityServe?
    Equipment for each of the sites will be provided, and LIFE Groups will be preparing for any other needs. All you need to bring is yourself and a desire to serve others!

  6. Will lunch be provided?
    The LIFE Groups serving at each location will eat lunch together.

  7. How can I sign my organization up for help from CityServe?
    If you would like people to serve at your organization through CityServe, please contact us about possible service opportunities.

  8. Will child care be provided?
    Yes, child care will be provided at the Transformation Center on the day of CityServe.
